Oil Painting Workshops
My next Oil Painting Workshop will be held on January 20th, 21st and 22nd of 2017 at the Thousand Oaks Community Gallery in Newbury Park.
The subject matter is a Seascape at Sunset, similar to that in the photo below. The fee is $160 for all three days and includes morning coffee and donuts as well as bottled water.
Workshop hours are 9 am to 4 pm on Friday and Saturday and 9 am to 2 pm on Sunday. Anyone interested in participating in this workshop can contact Ron Souza at (e-mail) [email protected].
For the past three years I have been giving Oil Painting Workshops at the Thousand Oaks Community Gallery in Newbury Park, California. Each workshop has been a huge success for both the students and myself, with each student proudly taking home a completed painting that they can frame and display.
Subjects have included Moonlit Seascapes, Flowers, Sunset and Romantic Seascapes.................The first two photos show students as they create a beautiful Hibiscus in the color of their choice. This was a three day workshop with 14 students and each student did remarkably well. Several had never painted in oils before. ......
